    Default Indirect night light

There's a few threads on the site relating to this but I can't find a definitive yes or no?!......question is I had this,(Indirect Night Lighting), on my Laguna and very nice it was too, it cast a soft reddish glow over the dash/gearstick. I was wondering if anyone has retro fitted it. I have an 05 SRI CDTI and have just replaced the standard interior light with the map reading version and would like to fit this too should it be an option. Any help appreciated guys.

    Duncan.

It doesn't have one already? Is that another thing they've done away with? My 04 SRi CDTi has one. It never ceases to amaze me the things they keep taking off models. They don't seem to reduce the prices any though do they. With regard to retro fit, I suppose it could be done, but I don't think anyone has on here. I may be wrong.

IIRC the indirect lighting in the vec c comes from the bottom of the reirview mirror on models with the one that auto-dips.

    Lads,

I think that lighting is all part of the auto dim rear view mirror optional extra now. Gary your quite right another bit of SRI spec dropped to add to the list. I could not go for new SRI now after all the spec on mine compared to new. Would feel like an older car!!!

Even if the mirror can be retro fitted, it is £450 for the part plus VAT!!

    Paul.

hi i had a few of them mirrors for people on astra sport an they cost around £40 from the brakers I use they are easy to wire up in the astra so it will be the same in the vectra c
only 4 wires an about 40 mins of your time job done for £60 all in as you need a small trim to cover the mirror base from vauxhall its under £10

As someone commented above, indirect night lighting casts a yellow/orange glow over gear lever and heater controls. Shines out the bottom of the rear view mirror.

How much do you charge for those pedals?
Any chance that you could get a price on a drivers door for a 1998 Astra G drivers door.? It's for a 5 door and i would like it in white! Oh and how much for delivery to Wrexham, North Wales?
