Time for a good clean

Hi folks thought it nwas time i gave the old lady a good clean, so here we go.

Wheels cleaned with bright wheels Wheel arches & Tyres cleaned with Megs all purpose cleaner Tar spots removed with megs tar & bug remover

Washed with Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
(wash mitt + 2 buckets)Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine

Tyres dressed with Autoglym instant tyre dressing
All exterior trim cleaned with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care

Looking very clean and shiney. Very nice.
Not knocking it mate but the tyre dressing
WHat you think about colour codeing the mudflaps ? I think it would look 100% better.

Maybe the tyres didn't come out too good in the pic?

I took pics of mine recently & the tyres looked fine on the car, but in the pic they looked riffy.

Ye will have to get something better that looks & lasts a bit longer for the tyres.

Planning to do a clay and a Meguiar's 3 Step in the next week or so, just getting started.


Apart from debadging the rear and an irmy grill i intend to keep it standard, think it will look better the way it was made to.

Car looks fabulous matey.

Personally I wouldn't bother with the Megs 3 step. What you've got already is better IMHO. Instead I 'd spend the money on a quality wax to protect all the hard work.

wont i loose everything once i clay the car anyway, there are a lot of realy grubby bits around the mud flaps and sills that need cleaning properly.

What do you guys sugest i use after claying to get a good finish.

Yep, the clay will strip off what's on there now. What I meant was next time clay it and then follow the same process that you have just done but put a quality wax on the top.

Next step after Autoglym SRP etc. is not the Megs 3 step. Equal maybe but not a step up although they work differently to AG.

You can spend a fortune on polish, paint cleaners, glazes and waxes etc. Dependent on budget and time.

I'd just buy the clay and some Colly 915 but everyone has their own opinion on waxes too.

If you click on my profile that's what around £200 of products and about 6 hours of work gets you. Your results seem pretty close eh.

I do like Megs all purpose cleaner I use it for everything now
