My youngest has now officially "nicked" the wife's car and started in the family tradition of mods
First was the lights, spoiler, exhaust, 17" wheels and interior. Then today it was off to Drinky's armed with a "How 2" for the torsion bars on the rear and some lowering springs for the front
Getting torsion bars out of a 6 year old car was no mean feat and after much swearing (by Drinky) knuckle rash (on Ryan) and a bad back (on me) they were out and the car lowered by approx 40mm at the back and 60mm at the front took 2 goes to get the back right as the first time it was a bit too low
Huge thanks to Chris for the use of the tools and his help and Louise for the bacon sarnies Cheers both
Anyhow, heres the pics........
Before it was lowered it resembled a 4x4
Out with the jacks and set Ryan to work
Drinky busy in his den
Oops!! I think we went a bit low there m8
Erm, Spot the difference.
All done, looks the business now
Mind the speed ramps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know it's a Pug, and it's French but it's his pride and joy
