I wonder why Doncaster has come up with this daft idea. On one side is the peaceful M18, where MLC comments above will be revalent, anybody sitting in the 3rd lane at 70mph will stick out like a sore thumb and on the other side is the slightly busier A1(M), where its only 2 lane mostly and speeds are hardly ever above 70mph and at rush hours, a lot lower. It doesn't make sense for them.

Could it be people in council jobs trying to drum up new ideas to justify their well paid but rather pointless jobs !!
