    Default New Set of Alloys Required

    I looking for a new set of alloys for my Vectra CDTi 150 Design Nav, currently got the standard 16's on there.

    Firstly I would like to know the cost of a set of 17's with good tyres?

    Secondly would changing the wheels in-validate my manufacturers Warranty?

    Any suggestions/recommendations appreciated.

    Are there different sri alloys available?

    "but insurance would" do you mean you would need to notify them?

    yes, there are two styles of SRi rims.. pre facelift and the more sculpted facelift ones..

    it's best to inform the insurance, just so they can add a note to the file.. that way if you bust one in an accident, you'll get another SRi one back..

    What would a new set of facelift sri alloys and tyres set me back?

    Are the facelift alloys nicer, equal to or below the pre facelift alloys?

    Depends on condition and tyres. Mint sets (second hand) with plenty of tread seem to go for around £350 to £400. New I was quoted around £125 just for a wheel but that was a couple of years ago.

    The pre and post alloys are "equal". I bought facelift ones for may old car because the car was a facelift. I'd have gone for the other ones if the car was a pre.;

    Nicer depends on your personal point of view.
