Default Signum 3.0 V6 CDTi Panel Filter

Just got myself an 07 plate Signum Elite 3.0 CDTi Auto. Very nice & torquey too but am considering a replacement air filter K&N or Green? The Green website has a panel filter for the 176bhp but mine is a later 184bhp. Will this be OK for mine or is the airbox different?

Air filter is the same. You can also do the 'air filter mod'.You simply pull out the little 'trumpet' at the bottom of the box.Give it a good pull as it's clipped in fairly tightly.

Thanks! Have you noticed a difference with the filter and box mod?

A little bit better overall with improved mpg (slightly) and less smoke.

Cheers - I'll give it a go. Not that it really needs any more pull. My previous car was a Vectra GSi 3.2V6 and I'm finding this new 3.0CDTi is not lacking. In fact in certain conditions I'm convinced it would eat the GSi despite having a lower bhp...

    Maybe it would.

I certainly have no trouble keeping up with a mates ST22O *spit*

We often drive each others cars and certainly the 'Mondy' can 'feel' like it's faster, but I think it's because it has to rev higher and faster to do the same job as the diesel. My mate likes the way that the diesel can be 'fast',even when you're not really trying.
