I've gone and done it!

Well, I've been bit quiet on the forum the last week. Reason being I've been spending hours reviewing electroniv forums. Well I decided to do it and have bought a 50" HD tv.
Trouble is, I've got to get out and spend a fortune on a home cinema dvd recorder now. (The wires behind the tv will be tided up once I've got that!)

£1200 from the Sony centre. 'Negotiated' a free five year warranty, (which they originally wanted £590 for

) Also got 12 months intrest free, buy now pay later. So I'm not officially skint until next jan

that was a good price!!!! the 42" HD screens that i have been looking at have been priced at that....bargain there......mrs woodster

That looks fantastic mate, if you have sky tv and will be wanting to take advantage of high definition tv , go here and register,http://hd.sky.com/ .
Homebase are doing cable tidies cheap at the moment (its what i use on mine, just one wire showing, keeps the wife happy..lol) Nice one mate,

ditto. It's surprising how quickly you get used to these big screens. I used to think a 28" screen was massive once.
We had a straight choice of 42" or 37" and I made the mistake of going for the 37" - which looked massive the day it was delivered, but now looks quite modest! As I keep being reminded by the missus, I should have bought the bigger one! - like she told me!!!!!
Now 50".....well, no one's going to say thats not big enough!!!
