    Angry Signum Rear Bumper

    Hi there guys,

Some very considerate person has decided to reverse into my 2004 Signums rear bumper. It hasn't caused a massive amount of noticable damage, but it has a small hole right in the bottom centre, about 2cm x 2cm, and a patch of scuffing around 3 inchs x 3 inchs. I've also noticed that the bumper has a small hairline crack, under neath the small central hole indent, its about 2-3 inchs long. So they obviously went into me more than once!

I was wondering, is it worth me trying to get my bumper, "Touched up" or should I just get a new one? If so... Where? I haven't tried VX yet, reckon they'll charge an arm and a leg!

    Cheers for reading...

    Nick

try a dismantlers.. the bumper will be cheaper 2nd hand and that amount of damage won't be cheap to repair....and it's cheaper to spray an entire 'good' bumper than to try and repair a bad one..

I'm not sure if he still has it, I think his was an Elite, mines a Design, would that matter? Also his is 2006 facelift, mine's 2004 old shape. How much would a decent respray cost for a whole bumper?

Won't matter - same bumper on all. All that differed was the lower skirt bit - on the facelift it was colour coded.
