    Default HID conversion kit

I just bought a HID kit and I was wondering how hard is it to fit? I just want to know if it's worth trying or shoud I go to a specialist.

I fitted the HIDS4U kit & it was plug & play - the hardest part was getting the bulb retaining clip to fit properly. The first one took about 30 minutes of bending, twisting & cursing before I got it to hold the bulb in but the second took about 30 seconds as I knew what to do by then. The only other problem was where to stick the control boxes as room is at a premium, but the job itself is fidldy but simple.

Space is tight on the drivers side,i found the best places to mount the ballast is under the headlight on the crash can or bolt it onto the slam panel, depends on the size and length of the loom.

Yes normally. Although technically they are a failure due to the fact they have no self levelling or washers.

Very easy to fit them, i have recently fitted HIDs. I mounted the ballast down the side by the light, there is a nice little shelf there for it to sit on.
