    Default Lucky escape

Finished my shift & taking my taxi back to the day drivers house, when all of a sudden a Traffic policeman steps out and waves me down,my stomach turns over and I am thinking not again,
A very civilised policeman explains that I was doing 56 in a 40 limit and he knows I need my license for my job so he gives me a rollocking [as he put it]........and lets me off , but if he catches me again its a ticket.
Next we are chewing the cud about this that and the other I ask how do these guns work, next thing I am using it,did not realise that the range is 999.9 yards and can pick out individual cars in a line, must have spent the best part of 30 mins with him very interesting chat we had, that was untill two cars came along who were clearly racing each other.

Speed guns have a reputed range of 1 kilometre..........but don't work in heavy rain or fog allegedly
