Default Facelift V6 CDTI Tuning (Again)

    Hi All...

I know this has been covered a few times on here, so I apologise for bringing it up again.

I have been in touch with quite a few tuners about having my 06 Facelift V6 CDTI tuned and the general response I get is that there are maps and tuning boxes available......

So what I would like to know is if anyone can share first hand knowledge of having this engine tuned??

    Cheers in advance

I think the general consensus for the later 3.0V6 (184bhp Euro IV, I think) is don't tune it. Fuel pump failures etc. etc. tend to happen when it's remapped or boxed. The older ones fair better, if I remember correctly.

Euro 4 engines don't like being tuned m8 Mine is staying standard!!!

It's ok them telling you it can be tuned but are they going to pay for the repairs if it goes t!ts up I don't think so

184bhp/400Nm diesel is a serious bit of kit as it is. Enjoy!

    Hey Guys,

When did the Euro4 come in? I tuned my siggy with no problems but have heard these tales of woe on the later models.

Mine is also an estate so assume its a no go from the off ass assume it will have a DPF?? 05 plate pre-facelift.
