    Default What you reckon?

    Hello,

I am really trying to convince myself whether to get rid of my LS 03 vectra, for this one

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=020

what you make of it, thanks to Glenboy who originally spotted it and placed it in the ebay links section.

I will have to put some extra towards it, but I love it so much that I want to buy it, but not sure.

IMHO, the SRi looks much better than the more prosaic models in the range. That particular one looks nice. Go for it.

See if you can test drive one somewhere, maybe a member would let you have a spin in their 1.8 (insurance permitting of course). I drove the 1.8 as a hire car years ago but cant remember what it was like to be honest.

You might not be into speed but you may miss a little umph pulling out at junctions ??!!

good point i like to be quick at junctions and roundabout, sometimes i sound like that ive made my mind and going to take a look at it and buy it, but then i think i just about bought the LS and to keep it for a while, but i dont feel that im really into it, never liked the ultra blue color, dont like the amount of stone chips (but every car would have these) and hate washing it due to the body being in its state, i want to get a car which is clean inside and out, with standard stuff like alloys, spoiler, and that looks lovelly specially the color.

There is no arguing with that, in your position I would get shot and replace with something that you feel proud of when you wash it.

When I got my LS, I was unhappy to begin with. Alloys sorted and a few mods here and there and I am ready to keep her for a while but alredy thinking about what is next.

If the car makes you feel that way and you can afford to change then go for it, but just be sure you are 100% happy with what you get.

BTW - I always spot things wrong when I've handed the cash over and got it home, showrooms make me blind I think.
