    Default overtaking pickup AGAIN

Hi guys, i posted a thread a little while ago about a pickup that overtook me in a very dodgy place showering my car with stone chips. This was a month or two ago. Well would you believe it tonight on the way home from work i'm driving up the same road and i see a black 08 mitsubhishi warrior comming up behind me and i think surely he's not going to go past he's left it too late. The road had narrowed down to two lanes from 3 and what does he do next, he goes past on the diagonal chevrons half way through these chevrons there is a waiting bit where on comming traffic can turn off into a junction over a blind hill, this time not so much stones but a big cloud of dust as he went past. And guess what it was the same guy! What a complete ********! Shetland being such a small place you tend to remember peoples faces and cars i feel like saying something to him if i meet him again. But then i aint no saint either. It really wound me up. Any way rant over
    Cheers Woody

Should have booted it and kept him on the wrong side of the road.

I like to think you have better common sense and never give in to the desire to have words with this guy - if he is nuts enough to overtake you where he did what else is he nut enough to do?

Hi S14RRJ, It's a bad bit of road where all the chips tend to gather as most other road users have pulled in before that bit. He's slowly turning my black car white with stone chips. My cars not new age wise but it's new to me and it winds me up, once is bad enough but twice is taking the p*ss

Yes he would not be worth the waste of breath, it would probably give him some satisfaction

Hi triple trouble, i didn't think he was going to go past then next thing i know he's along side of me. I booted it once nearly in the same spot to stop a taxi going past and i got a guilt trip afterwards. Knowing my luck pickup man would have me done for dangerous driving.

As frustrating and how much you want to kick him repeatedly in the stones till he squeals like a baby banchee - slow down and let him do his thing these people always meet the wrong person.

In a place like Shetland I'd have thought you were guaranteed to meet him again, not that I've ever been there.
