    at a VX dealer...yes...

thats why theres soft chairs in the waiting area.....

TBH, it's out of warranty now, so i'd never take it back to VX for servicing... use a good local independant and you'll be fine and quids in..

right, i'd still do the same thou.. just provide the independant with the VX oil filter and oil.. that way the car is still fully compliant with the EU 'block excemption' rulings and your warranty will still be intact..

    Networkq warranty?

ahh right.....i'd still get it done independantly.. if it's a VAT registered garage they can't penalise you for it thesedays.. it doesn't have to have VX history at all as long as it has independant history..

totally agree with GSI.. had the same with my old toyota and now my wife's BMW, albeit the stealers dont like it, the guide for proof is a VAT registred company, but an itemised receipt stating GM oil used and VX filter... with this you cant go wrong. they do mumble on about we know your car better etc.. but they charge the earth!. spoke once with the service mngr at bmw, said have a Oil&filter price that reasnobale youll get loads in, they refused, its the experience you buy into...yaaa right. only thing i know buy direct from any stealer is the filters, the rest is sourced from other places...ebay etc..
