    Default Mrs D for hire........................

Well, the work bubble has well and truly burst.................worn out, weary, grumpy and disillusioned am I

So, how about it - does anyone out there (North West/Cheshire) have a brilliant new job for me?

5 years spent with most recent employer - the last 2 as Service Desk Team Leader (and bl00dy good at it, if I do say so myself )
Well versed in dealing with staffing issues, complaints and the public.
Organised and self disciplined, very motivated and able to motivate others.
Damned well educated and with pretty decent IT skills as well

Seriously thinking about a change of direction and in need of suggestions - anyone need a woman of many talents (or even just able to offer soothing words to save me from insanity??????)

All I'll say is that it's easy to stay where you are under the 'comfort blanket'.

If you've got the courage to make the leap, you might find it's the best thing you ever did. Good luck.

From how you decribe yourself, why not try working for yourself? Youve got all the attributes I think are needed. What about opening a shop local to you?

Lou, have you tried signing up with the online agencies such as Total Jobs, CV Library, Fish 4 etc? Might be worth thinking about as they specialise in finding you the job best suited to your skills.
I got my last job 6 years ago through them and fancied a change last year so contacted them again and they sorted my present job for me. Best paid job i have EVER had and i have nothing but praise for them.

    Might be worth a go

I was like you Mrs. D, I was a nurse for 11 years, then trained as a play leader and worked in that profession for 5 years, then trained as a legal secretary and stayed there for 4 years but i started getting itchy feet again so i qualified as a door supervisor and have never been happier. I work in the office by days and out and about at nights, its normal office work during the day but at night I never know whats going to happen. I really cant see me doing anything else now, it suits me and i work with a great team of lads

Come work with me, there are only two women in our firm! (May be a bit far too commute tho!!!)

Sorry to hear that honey, it is not a nice place to be! Hopefully you will find something, that will challenge you and will be a nice new start, sometimes we need that push!
