    Default vec-c heater

    i have a clicking from this motor when heater knob is turned all the way to the left/cold. its located on the side of the heater box, whats its official name and as anyone purchased one recently any info please..also on how to remove the front panel shown on the left in pic i tried to remove but it seems stuck.

    it's one of the air servo motors...they are becoming a popular 'failing' part..

    its still working fine but the clicking can only mean failure at some point i suppose!

    im out witting it for now-i try to remember to adjust the knob before putting the key in!!

    Hi The Wizzard

    I had a similar prob, but mine would not work.

    To remove the panel, you have to undo that shiney nut, then the panel on the right will pull out far enough for you to access the other hidden screw.

    I disconnected the servo motor, removed it and then reconnected and it worked???????
