    Default new tyre's is this a bargain or what

    hi guy's just got 4 235/45/17 tyre's kumho's fitted for £230 .is this a good price or what .question do i need to get the speedo redone to match the wheels or will they be ok.im not sure any help cheers.

    good price, but are they not too wide mate? the standard width is 215 or 225... might rub on full lock too...? and yes the speedo will be out slightly - but probably not too much too worry about.

    do you mean 225/45/17 ?
    I am not sure if the VX 17" rims do more than 215 and 225 - so its 215/50 and 225/45.
    Check the tyres mate - but if they are 225/45/17 - that's less than 60 quid a pop - BARGIN

    Nutron had 235`s on his 17`s I am sure, standard size on 19`s anyway so shouldn`be a hassle , they may be slightly taller but not much in it tbh ..

    I have 235/40/18's and they are not a problem.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    yes they are 235/45/17s guy's i hope they fit i thought i read on here they would got me worried now

    Go turn full lock both ways and see if they foul the arches - if they don't then you should be okay I would imagine.

    Oh, and make sure some load on the shocks of course!

    i have 225/40/18,s khumos fitted on mine 254 for all 4 corners great tyre for price

    235/45-17 is wrong. Probably not an issue, but 225/45-17 is the correct size, and also one of the more popular tyre sizes so should be cheaper.

    I got 4x225/40/18 khumo's on my car £228 fitted,bought them from Camskill and got our local tyre guy to fit them............
