    Obviously a common problem this one

    I went to take my wheels off today and the locking key broke, it looks like a really bad design to me. Will be talking to my local tyre place tomorrow to see if they can get them off

    A friend with a Signum had one of his locking bolts head break. He drilled the remaining part of the bolt head off the locking bolt and then after removing the wheel used mole grips to extract the stud.

    I took my locking bolts out after that. I thought, "Who would want to steal these wheels off my car?" I think the risk of a broken/stuck locking bolt is greater than the risk of wheel theft.

    I don't think many people would want to steel the wheels but the price of the tyres would make them a temptation for some...
