No need to use it in a modern new car. Todays fuels have cleaning agents in them negating the need for such additives. In fact some manufacturers discourage the use of fuel additives. They're ok for use in older high mileage cars but you won't reap any benefits from using it in your car. So, is it a waste of a fiver? I would have to say yes. Sorry mate.Originally Posted by Dwabo
I would beg to differ. The reason I say this is last year I used a product call FORTE and as I had high mileage of 95k had nothing to lose. I followed the instructions and tried it over a 300 mile touring holiday and the difference was like night and day. My car felt more responsive and sounded slightly quieter when cruising..no doubt it could be good in an older or high mileage engine.
