Default CD70 Tel Mute also "mutes" the Climate Control

    GENIUS! PURE GENIUS!

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this......

Got in the car after work yesterday and it was very hot inside the car (Yippee Summer is here!).

Started up, set the Climate Control to 16deg and the Auto was selected. As you can imagine, after a couple of minutes, the fans were going pretty much full blast to cool the inside.

    Then, the girlfriend rang me.............

The CD muted, but also the fans slowed right down! Once the phone call was over, the fans returned to blizzard level!

    That is amazing, pure genius!

Just told the guys in work and they don't believe me.

To be honest, I couldn't believe it either.

    But it's soooo true..............

Gonna have to check the Jag now to see if it does it, I'm guessing not.... ha ha!

I'm assuming if you override it by turning the fans up to full blast, it can be used as a

"Sorry, the line has gone really bad, can't hear you"

    routine.

As far as I know this only works with climate & bluetooth. Owners with manual aircon & bluetooth don't get this feature.
