    Default swapping front wheels with rear

    Hi guys, i noticed earlier when washing the motor that the tread on my front tyres are getting close to legal requirements and was wondering if it would be o.k to swap the wheels with the back wheels which are both brand new?

    yes indeed mate, lot's of folk do this to wear the tyres evenly

    as alot of people do this 3-6 months to get a good wear out of there tyres

    As long as they are the same width. You can't have wider on the front

    I can understand why people would do this, but doesn't it mean you will have to buy 4 tyres quicker than instead of 2??

    was gonna get thew 225/40/17's on my mile muncher a put them on the front an leave the back for another month till i can afford to do the back.
