What do you use your PC for?

That machnie you've linked is more than overspecced for anyone other than a serious gamer.

As said above - what do you use the machine for, what are you likely to use it for in the future etc as you may only need a good basic machine and save some money to spend on your car!

I build my own, beleive me it's a hell of a lot cheaper for the spec you get!
If your just an average user a 600gb hard drive, and Athlon 6400+ dual core chip running on a gigabyte s series mother board, with a nividia 7600gs graphics card will do you very nicely Go to ebay and put each part in and look at the prices, then stick a case on top should be between £25 to £30 with a couple of extra fans at around a fiver each and you'll have a seriously bright smile on your face

that HD is also not wireless rather a network type, i got one of those and its connects to my router and then becomes wireless.

yeah built my own computer recently, which currently got on sale on ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=tab%3DSelling

alot cheaper to build one then buy one from PC World

I used to build loads a couple of years ago and could virtually do them for half shop prices. The ready built priced ones have come down a lot recently, have you looked at http://www.ebuyer.com/search/?intStoreID=5&intCatID=190

Ebuyer is the best I reckon, thats where I bought all my parts to build the computer being sold on Ebay, and it was my first ever built, and worked perfectly at the end of it, and is good enough to play games such as Crysis

Yep mine is custom built ... easiest way i think then you defo know you get exactly the spec you want and more importantly need. no point in wasting money over spec'ing it.. ebuyer is a good site and cheap prices...
