    Talking Clay Day

Had the urge to spend a whole day on the car today - and that's what i did!

Washed, de-tarred, clayed and waxed. My arms a bit sore but it was worth it.

looks mint mate, just a quick question what does the clay actually do? does it protect it from the dirt for a while or something and is easy to do?

The clay removes all the contaminants on the paintwork that regular washing doesn't remove. I'm really chuffed with the shine and it feels so smooth.

Run the palm of your hand across the bootlid and you'll probably feel your hand sticking to it. After claying your hand will glide right across the paint. The whole car is like that lol

thats defo what i want to do with my car now, where did you get the clay from? also how long does it last?

I do 60 miles everyday for work, and giving it a good clean puts me off, as the next day it gets dirty again

Got it from Halfords. The full kit that includes 2 clay bars, quick detailer, wax and a microfibre cloth is £23. It's well worth the money tbh mate!

The 2 bars are supposed to do 4 cars but i just use one per claying session!! lol
