While I was driving round the other day, as I do, picking up some equipment from a place I work, etc. I had time to kill so I thought I'd go and meet my other half (Eli) at the end of her shift. All is normal so far.
On the way out to the car park she asked if she could drive my Veccy, I was in a good mood, so I jumped in her car, and led the way home....my way!
15mins of the journey pass, as we turn off the main road. We get 3/4 of the way up a lane, (single car width) as I meet a Vec B. I move into a small cut out, and we pass each other. I stop and watch in the mirrors to see Eli had managed to reverse/roll the car into another cut out (entrance to a field so whole car off the lane). She goes to pull away, and the front o/s wheel starts spinning, rather quickly, and eventually pulls out. I didnt think anything of it....must have been the angle of car on the surface. So we carry on the last 2mins of the journey, I park up and watch as Eli goes around me to park. I notice the n/s exhaust!
She managed to push the exhaust into the embankment like pushing a straw into a really thick milkshake! Blocked up solid! That explains the wheels slipping trying to pull away!
It had fully blocked the exhaust, if I hadn't got the twin exit, the engine would have stalled! I grapped what I could find to free it up (a 13mm spanner) and managed to unblock, leaving a large lump of mud & weeds on the road!
Had a good look round, and NOTHING else has been touched, bumpers all lined up with no damage, exhaust still secure and no damage to mountings/flow. Purley filled the exhaust with half the Somerset Countryside!
Oh, and she couldnt say anything as she was laughing so much!
