CDR 2005 code

Hello,

As many of you probally aware, I have replaced my CDR 2005 with a CCR 2006, now the problem is, I want to sell the CDR 2005 on ebay, but don't have the code for it. Where can I get this from? I know VX can sort it out, but at what cost? Also what you reckon how much I would get for it on ebay without the code?

Last time I checked, my VX dealer wanted £17 to get the new 'PASS' for the code.

do you not have a security car code card which as the radio code and key code and immobiliser code on it you can apply for it from the local dealeer for about £15-£20

thats the thing i dont, how much you reckon it will sell for with code and without code?

best thing to do is find a couple on ebay and watch them to see what they fetch but you would get alot more with a code than with out

where did you get your car from m8 if it was a garage then tap them up for the codes

it was from a local garage, he did not get anything with the car so sold it on to me without anything, even without service book, i saw a bargain and went for it. will do a search on ebay now, see if anyone is selling one with with and without codes

i got my car last year without and service book or codes so i got my car codes from a dealer for free as i know the woman in the parts department

sorry to hijack your thread but I have a CD40 opera in my 2005 2.0 T and was told there is no radio code , I have the car pass thing and under radio type/code is says 0040/ , is this correct?

this is correct, the CDxx systems are paired to the car with the security code of the car... but the CDR2005 still has one
