    Default rca converter for fitting sub to cd70 nav

    Hi Folks i bought an rca converter so i can add my active sub to the cd70 nav model, i was wondering where is the best place to tap in for the wiring for eg the back of the headunit or closer to the rear speakers??

    back of the hu is easiest and just run the rcas back .

    i brought some from halfords and it says to tap of the rear speaker wires

    Thats where i got mine aswell mate i was wondering if it would be easier to attach the converter to the rear speakers under the door sills or something cant be bothered having to take my headunit out again it took me long enough to gety it back in when i fitted my parrot

    do it at the hu , unless you want to run wires from both sides to the boot then into your convertor , at the hu all the wires are there then its a simple case of running the rca's back , the radios pop out a pop on the vauxhalls , not sure why you had any probs , if you do remove the glovebox and give the radio a push !!

    Just about to do this and wanted to know if i connect direct to the head unit on the rear outputs will this affect the rear speakers??
