Unhappy Vectra Hatch 2.0T SXi Bamboo Green stolen NM53 BZC

    Hi all.

I used to own a vectra 2.0T Hatchback (petrol) until last week similar to the one in the pic. The best car Ive EVER had (including a new BMW 318 company car a few years ago!). Anyway, some **** managed to burgle the key from the house and made off with it (complete with Britax car seat and Mclaren pushchair, nice!). Needless to say Im gutted, and castration would be too good for the scroats who nicked it. Anyways, Im tryin to find another, but SXi are very rare on a 2.0T. The reg is NM53 BZC and its bamboo green. It was stolen from Darlington, so it may be still in the north east somewhere. If anyone sees it, then call your local bobbies ASAP, and there may be a reward if I get it back. It could be on different plates, but there arnt many 2.0T SXi so you never know. Anyway, if it dont turn up I will have to replace it. Probably get a SRi next time once the insurance coffs, but I really miss that Turbo now Im runnin about in wifes Megane. Take care, and DONT LEAVE YOUR KEYS LYING ROUND THE HALL WAY.

Jeez, recently it's been people having things nicked from their car - now a car itself.

Really sorry to hear that Dave, can understand why you're gutted as it sounded like a really nice car -and I bet you do miss that turbo!

All I can say is I hope you get it back - and in one piece! As for the key advice, that method is becoming the way that the scum steal cars these days - rather than try get around immobilisers etc. They'll break in just to get the keys to get the car.

I know it's no consellation now, but when you get a replacement, or even this one back, might be worth investing in one of those small safes? I have a larger one that i use for my computer backups, important documents etc. and I stick my keys in there if I'm out of the house and not in the car.

    Good luck m8

One of the biggest problems we currently face. Cars are to difficult to steal without keys, so they just burgle the house. Recently went to a job at 2am, where the scroats rammed a stolen car THROUGH the door of the house, in order to get the keys of an Evo.
    Absolute scum!

Sorry to hear this. My keys come up to bed with me, I leave them on my bedside table. Against all advice I really rather would have the chance to make them see the error of their ways.

Hope you get some good news soon dude.

Sorry to hear that, I had the same thing happen to me last year. We were all tucked up in bed, came down stairs in the morning and the back windows was missing and so was my car

Do you really want the car back after some thieving little scum has driven it?

Anyway, when the police came out, they told us stories of families being held hostige for the car keys. Since then I always leave my keys down stairs, my faimly is worth more than a car.

Anyway, hope you get it all sorted mate and catch the little ****'s.
