    Default Wont start

hi i have installed a new amp in my vectra c and have been testing it without the engine running and now when i try to start it the ignition just clicks and flash's and dials flash too.

Is this my battery dead or could maybe i have hit a cable where i have pushed the speaker wires down from behind the head unit to the bottam of the drivers footwell.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but i know nothing about cars really and dont want to buy a battery if its not that, the windscreen wipers are also slow in working mode as to were the electric windows
Thanks if u can help out.

Best to charge the battery via a battery charger. An alternator won't put a full charge back into a battery once it's started going flat.

Only thing that'll lose it's memory is the auto close/open windows and remote fob, which are easily DIY reprogrammable via the info in the handbook. Also take note of the info in the handbook on muting the alarm sounder before disconnecting the battery as well.

I charged mine up whilst still connected to the car, did it a few weeks ago and it's had no problems since.
It had a fault with something draining the battery that was sorted by Vx. No new battery required
