    Question What's this plug for?

    Whilst i had the headlining down on my car i noticed a 2 pin plug by the mirror which is not used. Anybody know what it's for?

    that will be for the bluetooth microfone,the auto dimming mirror plug is lot larger than that and has lot more cables to it

    Thats for the sunvisor mirror lights.

    If you stick a meter on it you will get 12V

    It's not for sun visors they are smaller and can be found further across. I'd agree with Andy, it's the mic plug.

    I have the same plug is it likely that I have the wiring loom installed for the factory bluetooth? I hope so it will save making the loom.

    I also have an 18 way connector behind the CDC40 with an aerial lead that has a screwed SMA connector any clues could it be the pot of gold that is the UHP connector.

    For sure it's for a mic connector. Got cd50phone and the mic is connected to that.
