Default Heard the cuckoo yet ?

We took the dog for a walk yeterday along the sea-wall,& exactly @ 2.30pm we heard the first one for this year, by the time we got back to the car we heard "it" or "them " 3 times during the course of a 4 mile "round robin " walk.

It is great to be woken up by natures chorus. I am quite often wokenup br a Cockrel "crowing". We feed the birds in our garden to encourage them to visit us, and a walk over the fields with the dogs is very relaxing.

We have foxes and owls during the night, and cuckoos and other local birdlife in the morning...including our own budgie.

Mind you, no matter how often I hear the foxes at night their cry is quite un-nerving...especially when it wakes you up at 3.00am
