    Default Oil Change - 2.2 DTi

    Can anyone give me some tips on how to change the oil??

    Checked it this afternoon and it's black!!!

    oil in deisels always goes black real quick

    Tam,
    Cant you get it done through your work (if they have a service dept)
    its pretty easy, but if your not sure you can take it to kwik fit etc who do fixed price oil and filter changes.

    Its a really easy job, i did mine 2 months ago. You need a tx45 bit or a hex key and i think 38mm for the oil filter. Its pretty much the same as the how2. Only 2 problems i had was that there is a plug above the oil filter housing which you need to take out to get the oil filter changed and i couldnt move that sump plug at all! What i did was took out the oil sender at the front of the engine, let it drain and the lift the back to take the rest out.

    I used engine flush as well and think it make a nice difference, i recommend this but not everyone does.
