Tussel with Focus RS

I had a play with a Focus RS the other night, He started off by flying past me and looking rather intently at my motor. We then had to negotiate a roundabout at this point I thought I may as well give it a go, on leaving the roundabout I planted it in second and he appeared do the same, the small gap that exsisted between us at this point remained as we sped up through the gears, to unhealthy speeds. Another roundabout was on us, so much braking was needed, he then turned off I decided not to follow as I had pretty much decided there was nowt in it so not worth trying to pass him. The race was from a rolling start say 25mph it got me thinking about 30-70 times for the 3.2 Gsi, the focus posts a 5.9 secs 30-70, anyone know how the Gsi fairs on paper in this respect. The outcome was their is not a lot between the 2 cars when rolling, something which actually suprised me, also the focus sounded rather mean at full chat.
