Default Really need spraying advice for Lip Spoiler

    Hello,

As most of you are aware bought a Lip Spoiler from Caterman the other day, and got round to spraying it,

got the primer down, 1200'ed it, then got the paint down, which went perfect until, i got running, i did not notice first, so and hour later laquered it, then noticed,

now my problem, the edges are fine no running nice quality but the middle is a mess,

whats the best thing i can do? re-do it all? or just that section?

also quick question if a gave it to bodyshop how much you reckon there would charge?

    thanks in advance

woke up this morning to find the spoiler completly dried, compared the color to the car and what a difference, absoutly rubbish color match shall we say, thats what you get with buying halfrauds products.

get some cash in hand and get a pro to do it at a local body shop,

or if anyone is a pro on here, how much would you charge? if i get it posted out to you?

I wouldn't charge you a bean apart from the cost of 500ml of basecoat (£11)

Trouble is I'm going away for 4 months next Monday.

Contrary to what people are telling you, you shouldn't leave basecoat to cure before you lacquer as bad adhesion can ensue later on. You did the right thing.

It's a shame the colour is out as I reckon a flat back with 1200 and a damn good t-cut and wax would sort out the runs.

Personally I'd go to a bodyshop and buy a GOOD quality spray can that's mixed to match. There are some great products out there that are easy to apply and create a pro look.

Failing that, pay to get it done. Good luck.
