I bought the laser one not sure of the part number, the pins were fractionally to far apart ended up hacksawing half of each pin off.Worked a treat.

Thats why you need the adapter mate, the main tool is a laser but the pins are wrong, the adapter changes it over to fit the vec/sig.

What are these specifically for and are any other tools required. I've changed discs and pads before and managed without specialist tools but happy to look for tools that make the job easier if it's cost effective.

Ahh Bazzer - I got mine from you mate, works a treat!

Chris - the rear brake cyliders on the Vectra need to be rotated and pushed in at the same time due to the handbrake mechanism. Some people use a pair of pliers and some use some kitchen utensils, but for a tenner the proper tool works a treat with a bit of effort. I'd be loathe to buy a whole kit for it unless you're making a habit of changing the rear pads...

I expect the rears will last a while yet as they have only covered 6.9k, just planning ahead.....a little too far I imagine.....too organised....lol
