Default Thanks to Tony AKA Caterman for top spoiler and smooth transaction - Advice required

    Hello,

Just bought the below spolier from Caterman today, just wanted to say thank you for the smooth transaction and can't wait to get it fitted.

Just a quick question and some advice please, and as always much appreciated from everyone.

Whats the best and effective way in getting it sprayed, im hoping to do it myself in the coming days.

Its already sprayed in star silver (is that correct Caterman?) and wondering if just spray over and laquer would do it?

Hope you dont mind Caterman for borrowing the pic

    Thanks in advance !

No probs m8, it's Lightening Silver actually

You should get away with a good rub down with some wet & dry ending with 1200 and then a grey primer. Some more 1200 wet & dry then the colour. A quick 1200 wet & dry then a few coats of laquer

That should do it but it won't be as good as a spray shop

I had mine made up by them although it would have been cheaper to get it from the dealers but it would have taken a few days to order in. Halfords took 20 mins to mix it and it is an exact match
