Anyone got one?... any issues with it spluttering hot water and burning yourself??... if so, phone tefal customer services and they will send out a modified nozzle to stop the spluttering...

Cool! Thanks! Not had a problem with it being really bad, but it does splutter a bit! I'll give them a ring.
Also, I would just like to say.......these are genius!
lol..they are good...but always filling the tank up!
What's a Tefal Quick Cup ??
You drink too much tea/coffee then!
The most genius piece of kitchen equipment ever made!

So, essentially it's a kettle that is less versatile and more expensive?? But does boil a cup full of water quicker.
Think I'll stick with my kettle, I can't say I'm ever in that much of a rush to wait 1 minute for a cupful of water to boil. If you only boil what you need it saves time, money and resources.
Its more than that. A decent kettle with a water filter in will cost about 3/4 of the price of the Quick Cup.
It's very versatile, apart from you can't use it as a jug to fill up your windscreen washers.
But the tefal one cup uses 65% less energy than a kettle, & takes just seconds to deliver the hot water, we've got one and its so much better.. doubt we'll go back to a normal kettle again...
So, about £45 - £50 for the quick cup. Nah, i'll still stick with the kettle. Lots of cup fills before they pay back on electrical costs....
Is that 65% energy saving per cup, or per fill to capacity?? Is it comparing the same amount of water heated?
