air con question

sorry mods tryed to put this question in the air-con section but it would not let me in for some reason

up until today i have had my ventilation on eco as it was warm today i wanted to cool the car down and turned the air-con on but there was no difference.think i need a re-fill,what sort of money should i expect to pay for this service.

I think it's around 60 quid, could try the Halfords kit might be cheaper.

Someone yesterday or the day before said they had theirs done at quick fit for I thinlk they said £44. I thought that was very good if they did it correctly, buy the sound of it. They did.
Ps. I never turn mine off as when the pump is not running the seals can dry out ( that is why they say to run it once a week) and the "gas" can escape.

yep, always best to not use ECO as the pump seals age and fail...always best to use it once a week even in winter..

wish i had new this before i have hardly used it all winter

I always forgot to use in winter it as well.

It is good for clearing the screen when it is raining just watch when you turn it off though as it is mists up.
