Anyway, I wanted to get my post up first before everyone else got back and overloaded the server

What a great trip! I got all the way there and back with no problems... right up until the M20 today that is, when it started to do something weird but then stopped again so I guess it was just sulking about being back on speed restricted roads

The sun held up for all of the out journey and the Irmscher days but it started to faulter a bit after that and it was very damp today and yesterday.

I only bought three things from Irmy but I wanted more. The only steering wheel they had for my setup was 450 euro so I said no thanks to that but some others couldn't get the money out of their wallets fast enough

The Golden Tulip hotel was the best accommodation by far and the Opel tour there was good but we only got a passing look at an Insignia

(unless you could the chassis' we saw). Fortunately, we saw two Insignias on the back of a transporter on the road. So we all boxed him in and scared the driver stupid while we took photos and gazed!

All in all a fantastic time and I only filled the car up twice in over 1000 miles, how many times did you fill up Phill?

Oh and that fuel consumption may not look awesome until you consider some of the speeds... one Vectra Hatchback + 145kg of fat people + 60-70kg of baggage + remap + methanol (but no tuning box and no NOS) returned a healthy 148.4 mph on the GPS!!! With only a minimal splattering of oil on the cars behind

Can't wait for the next trip.
