Angry How the hell can this be justified

How can this be justified with putting the prices up al the time. All they think about is proffits not the customers. Its disgusting, bout time this goverment started to help us instead of ripping us off & making normal living harder for everyone, it sucks!

Whilst I agree that the profits made by the oil companys are excessive it's our own goverment who are doing the most damage to our pockets. If they stopped rubbing their hands with glee at every price increase & just took the amout of duty they had calculated for in the budget we'd all be a darn sight better off inspite of Shell & BP et al.

I agree with Ian, they should just decide on a tax per litre and leave it at that. The way they do it with Duty vat % etc is just a TAX grab and nothing else.

it's a bit misleading what has been said as the profits are not all from petrol most of there profits come from plastics and that about 85% leaving 15% .

you are right its the goverment taxxing and taxing again vat on top of tax.

the goverment will do nothing about the cost as it push's the prices of everything up and that's what the goverment what's "" the prices go up,,so they get more vat ""

labour = tax , tax and tax ,, if that doesnt work just tax it again

the cost of fuel is killing me it's go up 18 week in a row and it will keep going up , iv been thinking id be better off on the dole

the Best thing to do is to take a stand, if every one votes this Thursday , anyone other than LABOUR, they will get the picture of whats coming,

Time to VOTE THE TAX/VAT robbing *******s out, its time to take a stand and to be counted as one , all the moaning and slagging off counts for nothing if you don't VOTE,

    VOTE THE ****ERS OUT !!!!

my dad was right when he said they do it every time they get in power then leave it for sombody to sort out the mess so we then have to have 3 or 4 years of hell for them to try to sort the mess out

"""enoch powell said a few words that come to mind and magie wanted us to follow that line just not in the same way , europe is killing us off""

Me too, bad management all round, saddest thing is I lived the hell of the Tories but they at least knew there was another week coming next week and balanced the booksm but this lot work like a bum with a mastercard, I once had the opp to take over a failing business but the stipulation was I had to inherit one of the existing partners in the business, he was hopeless, all day he'd sit in the office playing Windows 98 card games without any care as to going out getting new business, I said I will have to turn it down, it was going to be a ground up re-build and I wasn't going to graft a good business only to watch him take half the profits sitting on his lazy backside, I sussed him out a few yrs earlier, his business ethic was to take 50p on monday rather than have a fiver on friday, and as far as I can see this lot are no better than he as far as knowing how to organise or stimulate growth, as also mentioned above their only answer is to tax the tax thats taxed to the max already, not one of them could ever have played Sim City which was actually used in business training by a lot of major companies ten yrs ago to educate their staff on how to get the best price without destroying the customer base.
