Tech 2

Hi all, I'm will be fitting a towbar to my Signum soon with the plug in electrical's kit. From what I have read it seems that it is likely that I will need to hook upto a tech 2 for them to work.
My question is does anyone know of a reliable company that can do this for me in the kings Lynn area?

No need for Tech 2 if you're using the Vx electrics. When mine was fitted recently (detachable towbar with Vx electrics) the module plugged into the Rear Electrical Centre and worked with no Tech 2 required.

As Duncan said. When I got my towbar fitted, all that had to be done was to plug in the Vx trailer module into the REC and it all worked straight away.

I think one thing that Tech2 can activate is the trailer tell-tale light to appear on the dash when a trailer is attached. ( like you wouldn't notice you had one attached without the light!!! )
