Default HELP! Dials on dash dont work

Hi, I have a siggy 53/2004 got in the car this morning to go to work and the dials on the dash wont work they are all down on the zero mark so i am unable to see how fast i am going. Also the clock with the trip computer is not working and i cant see how many miles the car has done. The only light that comes on the dash is the engine light when i start the car (2.0dti) once car started that goes out.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Check the fuses, it'll be a main engine one most probably in the dash or boot, but look for a super size fuse I think it's about a 30 amp one, hth.

More likely to be the CIM module or possibly related to the ABS sensors, there was an issue with them where they would send the dash haywire. Have a search for keywords related to your problem and you'll soon find a few threads that people have posted.

We have to check the simple before the expensive.

Oh absolutely - deffo check the fuses first, but my post was a follow up to that if no fuse was blown.
