    Default tyre pressures

    Ive just fitted new alloys and they came with 215/45/17 tyres. Ive had a good look round for the correct pressure and cant find any definates, I think it should be about 30 all round??? - thats what they are now..has any one got any ideas...cheers, Bob.

    A general rule of thumb is to double the rims size, in your case 17" rims = 34psi most garages use this rule when fitting new tyres.

    Been playing around with mine from day one, settled on 36 PSI all round as the best feel. (Eagle NCT's)
