They handle a direct spark, and that fact should speak for itself, they will definately help as part of a set up.

What i can't remember is the part number because i need some replacements for my 2.2 sri petrol 56 plate....Anyone one here have an idea?

the only way how a spark plug will make a diffference to performance is if you have a current problem with your plugs

I have used many different types of spark plugs during my (to many) years of motoring and I have found that any top quality plug, correctly gaped (if required) will give you the identical result unless you have a very, very highly tuned engine in which case a very slight improvment could be felt, but on any 'normal' engine the cost could outweight any improvment aquired. For a rugged reliable plug at a cost that will not empty the wallet try the Bosch unit. I have used them for a while with no problem myself. I know that you will comment on this, please do as the sharing of information is what it is all about. Drive safely.
