the facts with the new map

iv been asked a few time how fast and how good my map really is as some have said your car is on jacks and going down hill and yes the track i was on does go down hill by 2 deg , so yestoday i used the g-tech logger with gps to give the speeds and distance on the car .

you can see down the right hand side the other speeds you pass showing 30 to 50 , 50 to 70 and so on .

you also need to add the roll out of the car its around 0.5 of a sec and by the way if you take a trip down to santa pod the roll out isnt added to you time your roll out is about 12ins its there to deal with wheelspin and if you dont get wheelsping you will get the better time as you get your car moving about a foot for free.

as you can see on the main run i really whent for it and got the speed right up there

this shows the g force and there is no way to fix or hide from what you really get from the car

Is that just the map you have on your car ?

Was actually going to have the V6 remapped this week,but ended up buying a Honda CB500 instead.Got rid of my CBR thou',but the 500 will still see off most cars (0-60 in 4.5,quarter mile in less than 13) and do 60 mpg at the same time.

Maybe when it gets colder again I'll get the remap.But for now.........

iv been told 149.6 mph on the gps

No, I got 228kmph with Maverick's fat butt in the car not enough room on the roads. I got another go after we left Irmscher though and plotted 148.4mph but without the tuning box on. Must have been a bad line from Germany
