    Default AFL recall?

Took car in for the 3rd service, no problems with service 55 plate 150 CDTI facelift on 28.000. But got a letter through yesterday from dealer saying I need to return car to have a recall fixed as it is still outstanding. Recall something to do with AFL's, reception had no idea and workshop really busy when I went in and I was in a hurry to depart.
    1. So has anyone else had this recall?
    2. What is the problem?
Reception seem to think that it requires the replacing of the headlamps?
At £493 per unit thats an expensive swap.
    Any info greatly appreciated.

I have AFL on my veccy. Cars only 4 weeks old. Haven't heard anything about a recall, but might not affect me as the cars new?

If Vauxhall have recalled the vehicle, then you shouldn't have to pay.

Plus, if your car is on a 55 plate and has done only 28000 miles, it'll be under warranty.

Recall is for Xenon/AFL and seems to involve changing the shape of dipped beam pattern.

This shows as reduced light coverage at road centre line.

Well I have had no recall but just had one AFL unit replaced under warranty recently. Interestingly the replacement unit they used was older than the faulty one they replaced!
