You sure its a speaker i know some vecs have the climate control sensor thing there for sun sensor????
To the back of the CD70 as it the centre speaker for the stereo
I thought it was a centre speaker for the radio but the wire colours dont match up with any on the back of the stereo and there is no sound from the speaker with the stereo on ,I had also been told its the speaker for the factory fitted phone kit.
The wires join the front door loom before it goes into the stereo, thats why there different. Although this is true on my half canbus im sure there was a thread that mentioned that it might be different on newer HU's.
My wires are the same and I have sound from it. Factory fitted phone comes out of all speakers or at least the front two. If you look at the pinouts on the CD70 label you will see CE- and CE+ which are for the centre speaker
Half canbus centre speaker has four wires going to it. Two from each side. Speaker is 4 ohm + 4 ohm. Full canbus speaker is 4 ohm and two wires.
If it is the centre speaker for the audio system when should i have sound coming from it,as its conected into the front speaker it should be on all the time.
As far as I aware then sound should always be coming from it unless u have settings wrong in the CD70. It is very difficult to hear its working as u need to get close to it.Maybe use your phones recording program and hold it next to it
Thanks for your help I've just found this diagram for the cd70,I'll check it out tomorrow, does anyone know where the wires from the aux plug with the tel + in and tel - in go to or does anyone know what the other pins do.
