    Default Just fitted these...

    Elctormagnetic parking senesors. With my track record of 'fixing' things on the car I, it would be best if is stayed away from the drill, hence why I purchased these;

    Really easy to fit, you get a long silver foil like sensor that sticks behind the bumber, enough to go from one wheel arch to the other. I then put the control blok in the spare wheel well, and pushed the connector wire through the number plate rubber gormet. Connect to the reverse ligth and bob's your uncle.

    Seem to work good enough and very easy to fit. Plus no chance of making an @rse of the rear bumber drilling holles.

    Now does anybody know how to connect them to the parking switch on the dash?

    If it only works when the reversing light is on do you need it connected to the switch?

    was just looking for parking sensors on Ebay but was not to keen on drilling the holes. This looks like a nice alternative. Thanks for the tip and the fitting instructions

    Anyone know if these are quick and easy to install for someone with absolutely no knowledge of auto electrics whatsoever? Can someone do a how 2?

    Seem to work allright, tryed them out today in the local Asda carpark and seem to be fine.

    I can put together a how too for anbody interested on how to do install these, If i can do it then anybody can!

    As for the switch, I am thinking of getting some sensors for the front as well, so the swithc could be used to turn the front sensors on/off. I shall invesitage this a bit more.

    hi thewildhaggis, have you investigated the front switch idea further & also how sticky is the strip as when your motoring along & it's raining it must catch alot of water back there. How high up the bumper did you mount it, cheers. I am looking at purchasing one of these as they look far better than the sensor idea, etc.
