Default Not as much bite in my gsi brakes as in 2.2dti elite...

**Edit** I meant bite not mite in the subject, lol.

I seem to have a fair bit of pedal travel before mine "bite", i drove my girlfriends parents 2.2dti elite the other day and the brakes "bite" as soon as you touch the pedal, they dont stop as good as my gsi's but there is so much less pedal travel than mine.

Mine work fine but you do have to stamp to throw yourself forward. The brake fluid was changed on the service and on the report it said the pads on the front were down to 35%approx, would this be anything to do with it?? thanks

Would think thats to do with you only having 35% wear left mine are on low wear and they still feel better than the missues corsa which were just changed ...

It had the brake fluid changed on the service the other week though... They were the same before as well... Its only on 26k so there wouldnt be something up with the flexs already...?
Everything was perfect apparently when they serviced it...

Yep, and that's why I was suggesting that it 'may' need a bit more bleeding. They may have introduced some air/not got it all out when they changed the fluid. It'd be the first thing I'd check given that it's had a fluid change and only being doing it since then(?).

EDIT: Just read your post thoroughly this time! and the bit about it being like that before the fluid change. Hmmm. Maybe something else then.

Lol, thanks for your reply... Theyre still good but just want that throw yourself out of the front window feeling, lol. Ill change the pads soon so Ill see how they are after that...! Recommend any decent ones?
Or shall I go with good 'ol vauxhall ones? i do get trade discount at vaux as well so I guess it would make sense to get oem ones... Are there police spec ones?
