    Default Key Re-Programming

Would VX re-programme a flip key bought elsewhere?

I've bought one off eBay for pennies but it's got a key cut already. The listing says any good key cutter would do a new one but the blade looks part of the metal bit that flips up.......

the rivet pops out apparently allowing a new blade to be fitted, needs to be programmed by the dealers to work though.

I'm guessing only a VX dealer would be able to fit a new blade then?
