Default Do you keep your locking nut in the car?

Now pls dont post up where you keep your locking nut guys, but do you keep it in the car? Now I appreciate if your doing the miles or a long journey then you'd be stupid not to take it, I only travel about 5 miles to work and there are plenty of scrotes hanging around so I keep mine at home.

If you are only doing short journeys then it is fair enough to keep it within your property
However, it is more practical to keep it in a safe place in the car, either in the boot, one of the two equipment holders, or in the space beside the spare wheel

Yep, always keep it in the car but it's cream crackered at the moment with one of the nuts stuck tight.

Normally I would, but for some reason I didn't do it and lost it a few months ago so paid £40 to have them removed

Most of them you have to knock the sleeve off the out side of the bolt first and that aint the easiest thing to do, trust me the chisel was taking all the abuse and the bolt not much at all.
